Everyone at Samuel Whitbread Academy is deeply saddened at the passing of a Year 11 pupil, which has come as a great shock to us all.

Our heartfelt thoughts and condolences are with the pupil’s family and we ask for their privacy to be respected at this tragic time.

Over the coming days and weeks we will be focusing on providing the necessary support, including bereavement counselling with trained professionals, to all in the school community who have been affected by this devastating loss.
