Mr Martin Announces Key Changes to Senior Leadership Team
"As you may be aware, Mrs Linehan, one of our two Vice Principals, will be leaving us at the end of this term. She has been a pivotal member of our Academy, championing the quality of teaching and learning and the professional development of staff. While we are sad to see her go, we are incredibly proud to share that she has been appointed Principal of Pix Brook Academy. This is a well-deserved opportunity, and we wish her every success in her new role.
Following a thorough interview process this week, I am delighted to announce that Mrs Kirkman will be stepping into the role of Vice Principal for Pastoral Care. Many of you will already know Mrs Kirkman, who has been an outstanding member of our teaching staff for several years. She brings with her a wealth of experience; a passion for nurturing student wellbeing, and a deep understanding of our school's ethos and values.
Mrs Kirkman is committed to building on the excellent work of the Pastoral Team, ensuring that pastoral care remains at the heart of our school. She is looking forward to working closely with students, families and staff to further strengthen the support we provide for every child to thrive both academically and personally.
We will, of course, arrange an opportunity to say a proper goodbye to Mrs Linehan and celebrate her remarkable contributions to our school. In the meantime, please join me in congratulating Mrs Kirkman on her new appointment. I am confident she will excel in this important role and continue to make a positive impact within our school community."
