Samuel Whitbread Academy

2024 Update

In December 2023, our Sixth Form ran its Annual World Food Festival where each tutor group planned, prepped and ran a stall for a different country. Students from each tutor group had to prepare/cook/bake a variety of food they had researched in order to see at their country's stall.  This was in aid of our Sixth Form sister school The Methodist Junior High School in Kwahu-Tafo in Ghana. Monies raised over the last two years from the Sixth Form Annual World Food Festival have funded a new computer lab. This included new computers, their first projector and even decorating the lab.

We have received the following communication from Daniel Dadzie, Head Teacher of The Methodist Junior High School, where he says: “I'm excited to let you know that the school has used your aid to acquire 10 sets of computers. It went further to help us give the laboratory a face-lift. Kwahu Tafo Methodist JHS is always grateful to you at Samuel Whitbread Academy. I will update you on whatever you request from us for the next academic year. Everybody, including our former students, are still happy and really appreciate your support”.

We have also received a letter from an ex-student of the The Methodist Junior High School. Please click here to see the letter.
